Nepal Earthquake: please send urgent help now

The 7.8 magnitude earthquake is the worst to hit Nepal in almost a century. Homes and historic buildings have been destroyed, with many men, women and children feared to be trapped inside. Tremors have been reported as far as India and Bangladesh.

Cecilia Keizer, Oxfam country director in Nepal said: "We are managing to reach out to people in Kathmandu, but it is extremely difficult to provide support to the most affected areas – a lot of roads have been damaged. At the moment, all the death count reports are coming from Kathmandu Valley. Sadly, I fear that this is only the beginning.”

Oxfam need your help. The sooner they can reach earthquake survivors, the greater the difference they can make.
